Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of sharing ideas, conversations, and moments with Åsa, an artist whose work, like her presence, is both grounded and transformative. Mussels captures her world from 2018 to 2024: from the quiet rhythm of her studio, to her garden in Månsamåla, to the glowing heat of the Kosta glassworks.

Photographed by the brilliant Märta Thisner whose raw, poetic style resonates deeply with Åsa’s universe. This book is a meditation on making, remembering, and the quiet power of everyday beauty.
